DEVILS CLIFF AND PETRIFIED FOREST

Terrain - Extremely jagged and hazardous cliffs follow the coastline of this territory nature has worn strange faces into the cliffs that resemble monstrous beasts. The most famous part of the cliffs is known as devils cliff, which clearly features the face of a horned beast, and its eyes are two large cave entrances leading into various large caverns. The cliffs have slightly more gentle and safer slopes as they descend into an area dead of life that features a forest of fossils. This is the whole realms only sure proof that life did in fact walk here before the first children of the current population of Daragonia. Huge mammoth trees still stand dead amongst the large rocks strewn across this area.

Sources - Sealskins are popular amongst the rich. The seals fat is used as a fuel.

Wildlife - Various sea birds and seals inhabit the coastline cliffs.


THE BLACKMINES AND SALTWATER LAKES

Terrain - Hilly country of thick and course brush lands featuring huge trees. Occasional pools of saltwater lie across its surface. The centre of this area features too vertical mineshafts leading into gold mines.

Sources - Various skins available, meats and diamond mines.

Wildlife - An abundance of forest type creatures such as fox, deer, rabbits, badgers, weasels and rats dominate the area indicating that fresh water must be near although no records of its whereabouts have been recorded. Small dangerous lizards populate here and are highly poisonous. Reports of strange creatures now named as Garda's have been sighted living in the saltwater lakes. No-one knows what the body or facial features of the Garda's looks like but the beast is known for its long black tentacles that have dragged many an unwary traveller into the saltwater lakes.


THE DEAD PLAINS OF RA

Terrain - Flatlands of dried cracked soil sustaining no life whatsoever. A strange round theatre or arena built of columns stands in its centre.

NORTH CAVERNS

Terrain - Subterranean passages leading steadily uphill in the foothills of Hellsmount.

WEST CAVERNS

Terrain - Subterranean passages with a slow incline in the foothills of Hellsmount.

Sources - Turquoise

Wildlife - Bats.


EAST CAVERNS

Terrain - Subterranean passages and underground streams with a slow incline in the foothills of Hellsmount.

Sources - Water

Wildlife- No wildlife.


SOUTH CAVERNS

Terrain - Subterranean passages with a slow incline in the foothills of Hellsmount.

Sources - Spider silk from the giant spider makes good yarn.

Wildlife - Giant spiders, arachnids of great beauty and oily coloured.


HELLSMOUNT (CENTRAL CAVERNS)

Terrain - Monstrous caverns and subterranean fortress built into the largest central cavern. Various crystals almost glow in its walls. Strange vines and lichen grow in plenty around this area.

Sources - Precious stones. The lichen can be brewed into strong and potent ale.

Wildlife - Rats, mice and other similar small mammals.


SALT MOUNTAINS AND CAVES

Terrain - High peaks and low valleys made with a base of salt. Hazardous land to traverse and prone to rockslides.

Sources - Salt

Wildlife - Occasional small lizards and insects.


FATAL DESERT

Terrain - Strange thin trunked trees line the deserts borders that carry bright red leaves throughout the seasons. Rolling dunes of bare sand.

Sources - The leaves of the trees are used for medicinal compounds.

Wildlife - Birds of various types frequent the tree lined borders.


VILLAGE OF MEDUSA AND FOREST

Terrain - Flatlands covered in dense underfoot flora and moss. The centre of the forest has been unnaturally cleared due to tree stumps lying on its borders cleanly sawn. The clearing features a small stonework village of tiny one-roomed houses and thatched roofs. A large well of fresh water lies in the village centre. The nightmare of a once happy community still stands amongst the buildings. Humans with tormented and terrified faces stand defying time in agonising poses made of stone.

Sources - Fresh water, meat and various vegetables.

Wildlife - Once domesticated farm stock now roam freely around the woods. On the village borders fairly large areas of once cultivated land now house wild vegetables that have seeded and grown through the seasons unattended.


RIVER MOUTH AND THE VALLEY OF THE MOTHERS MILK RIVER

Terrain - Flat rocky coastline featuring the mouth of a large river known as Mothers Milk. The coastline gradually inclines towards the salt mountains and the south cliff faces.

Sources - Various seafood

Wildlife - Fish and large eel like, man-eating sea serpents known, as Radmires inhabit the west realm coasts and further out to sea.


RATTLESNAKE VALLEY AND CLIFFS

Terrain - Long valley with sheer cliff walls. The valley leads from the northern borders to the southern borders of this area. Once of the cliff faces in the centre of this valley is known as Death Bite Cliff and carries the blackened stain of blood along with many horrifying myths and legends of death and torture. Towards the south of the valley a large river runs from out of one of the western cliff faces and disappears once more further south into the western walls of the subterranean cliff city before joining the mouth of Mothers Milk. This river floods on a frequent basis turning the sandy floor of the valley into a perilous quagmire.

Wildlife - Rattlesnakes and various small lizards. Scavenger birds also flock around the cliff faces.


MADASH VOLCANO AND HOT WATER SPRINGS

Terrain - Smooth blackened slopes with the occasional flat plateau lead up towards the tip of the huge volcano. Since the day of counting for the current population of Daragonia Madash has not erupted. Occasionally on the flat plateaus and underground spring of boiling hot water gushes up leaving small pools of hot water in the smooth bowls on the plateaus surfaces.

THE FORGOTTEN CITY RUINS AND TEMPLE

Terrain - A sparse forest of various trees lie around this areas perimeter. Amongst the forest lies a once great city that now lies in absolute ruin and beyond repair. The only surviving structure of what looks to be an ancient temple of some sort dominates the cities centre.

Sources - Various fruits grow in the trees on the perimeter of the city.

Wildlife - Apes and monkeys have inhabited the ruins.


SUBTERRANEAN CLIFF CITY AND LABYRINTH

Terrain - Large flat topped mountain peaks leading to the coast with sheer drops. Secret passageways lead underground into a natural city protected by a labyrinth of confusing passageways. The massive city windows and stone balconies face out to the sea. The stone city structures inside the caverns are gigantic.

Sources - Fresh water subterranean springs. The rock of this area is easier to shape and cut and ideal for building.

Wildlife - No wildlife.


HANGMANS RUNS AND PRIMITIVE VILLAGE SETTLEMENT

Terrain - Sheer mountainsides on its north and west borders. The highland declines as it reaches the sandy coastline. Coral reefs dominate the coast of this area. Roughly central the land drops suddenly into a round grassy bowl featuring a small primitive village of wooden shacks with small patches of farmland. The bowl opens southwards into another small valley leading down the coast. The southern edge of this village is famous for its display of a dozen hangman's gallows in a row.
