ROCKFARERS POINT

Terrain - Moor like conditions, with springy turf and heather predominating. The trees are usually bent over to one side by the predominating sea breeze and the food is sparse. In the sandstone cliffs around the point itself is carved a gigantic subterranean city.

Sources - Habitation and some wood for carpentry purposes.

Wildlife - Birds of prey, some goats and small animals.

LIMESTONE PLAINS

Terrain - The soil has high alkali content due to rainwater dissolving the limestone and the resulting alkali leeching into the ground. The terrain is generally flat with small meandering streams dividing the plains into a patchwork quilt of small fields.

Sources - Various plants grow here that are not found anywhere else in Daragonia. Principal among these is a spindly plant with long brittle stems that can be distilled into alcoholic ale.

Wildlife - Birds of prey, some goats and small animals.

FOREST OF CACTI

Terrain - The ground is hot and dry, with a crumbly brown soil that holds little water. Cacti infest this land, making any passage through it an extreme difficulty.

Sources - Cutting a cactus in half and draining the damp core can obtain Water.

Wildlife- Stinging insects with large needle like tubes protruding from their heads, used to land on cacti and drain moisture. These also attack travellers and will drain blood.

TROPICAL JUNGLE

Terrain - A wide, slow river runs through this region, and broad-leaved plants with waxy leaves make up the undergrowth. Fast growing trees with soft wood make up the forests, which cover the land thickly.

Sources - Various medicinal plants.

Wildlife- Many insects can be found here. Great Apes inhabit the region, as do many coloured birds of paradise. Parrots are a notable example.

SANDY LANDS, TROPICAL TREES AND FLORA

Terrain - Low, rolling hills thickly forested with the fast growing trees usually found at this latitude. These become scarcer as the coast is approached, the forested hills dying out into a large range of bush and grass covered sand dunes.

Sources - Unknown

Wildlife - Insects. Some birds of paradise inhabit the tropical forest, while seagulls predominate near the coast. Rabbits are common among the sand dunes.

LAND OF THE THREE VALLEYS

Terrain - Three large valleys with rivers running through each one to the sea, the three flowing from one source at the heads of the valleys. The valleys contain overgrown fields and hedges, giving way to trees and open moors on top of the mountains separating them.

Sources - Excellent grazing land. Wild horses.

Wildlife- Small animals and birds of prey. Wild horses live in the moors on the mountains.

DESERT OF BONES

Terrain - Dry, windblown dust and grit. Occasional blackened skeletons of trees can be found which crumble to charcoal at the touch. In the centre of this region rests a vast army of skeletons, lying in ragged military formation as if something flayed the flesh from the bones of an entire invading army in a few microseconds, leaving only the regiments of bones in the dust.

Sources - Some old swords and occasional rusty pieces of armour.

Wildlife - Great Apes from the tropical jungle come here to die.

ANCIENT GROUNDS AND ROCK TOWERS

Terrain - Rocky plateau with many seemingly natural stone spires. Some have been hollowed out and have chambers within, and the ground around these is usually covered with a thin layer of soil. There are occasional springs.

Sources - Habitation and water.

Wildlife - Birds of prey and some small animals. A large creature preys here, known as a griffins, and appears like a combination of giant eagle and lion.

THE SOUTHERN DOCKS

Terrain - Ancient stone built buildings cluster thickly around the docks. There is an extensive network of piers and jetties, which have apparently been carved out of the bedrock. Further inland there is a network of fields.

Sources - Arable land and dock.

Wildlife - Small animals, foxes and birds of prey.

SOUTH COAST CITY AND PORT

Terrain - Medium sized city constructed in a similar manner to the buildings of the Southern Dock. The port, however, shows evidence of being built later and displays use of woodwork, especially used to build the port facilities. The wood of the piers and jetties is intricately carved.

Sources - Habitation and dock.

Wildlife - Small rodents.

SAVANNAH SCRUBLANDS AND HUNTING GROUNDS

Terrain - Grasslands, often reaching a height of five feet or more. Bushes are common and the occasional trees can grow to a great height.

Sources - Meat and wood for carpentry.

Wildlife - Antelopes and large feline predators analogous to lions.
