NORTH EAST ISLAND MOUNTAIN RANGE
Terrain: High rocky peaks with snow at the high altitudes. Lightly forested with evergreens, the trees become more numerous as the mountain range drops down towards the Evergreen Forest.
Source: None yet discovered.
Wildlife: Birds of prey, sheep and some small animals at the lower altitudes.
EVERGREEN FOREST AND JEWEL MINES
Terrain: Rolling valleys cover much of this region, thickly covered with evergreens. The ground is also covered with ferns which spring up around the trees. Towards the south of the region is the main mine workings with many hundreds of tunnels although there are solitary tunnels scattered all over the region.
Sources: Wood for building and jewels from the mines.
Wildlife: Deer which browse on the moss growing in the dim light under the forest canopy.
GRASS FLATLANDS AND CITY
Terrain: Grassy foot hills diminishing towards the shore. Some groves of deciduous trees are scattered around the landscape. The city is of the same granite construction as that on the North West Island.
Source: Arable land for farming or grazing.
Wildlife: Sheep inhabit the slopes of the hills, plus the usual small animals.
NORTH EAST ISLAND SHORES AND ANCIENT PORT
Terrain: Smooth grassland with clumps of evergreens. The ancient port consists of a jetty and harbour seemingly carved out of the bedrock itself, with some rather newer buildings of granite block construction alongside the harbour.
Sources: A protected harbour and grazing land.
Wildlife: Sheep and some small animals including small birds of prey. The lake contains fish.
